John has two degrees: both an Associates and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Additionally, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Rochester Real Estate Association. His most recent accomplishment is to become a Certified Property Preservation Specialist through the Society of Independent Representatives.

John worked for United Parcel Service in shipping, as an Engineer, a supervisor and manager with 175 employees and staff which reported directly to him. He then became an Operations and Route Engineer as a sub-contractor to Airborne Express where he would travel to their Ohio facility for the purpose of re-staffing the operation. He was able to significantly improve production and quality while reducing costs.

During his sub-contracting to Airborne Express, John became familiar with the field service industry and decided to strike out on his own. His considerable skill at routing and locator abilities provided a significant edge to completing inspection tasks. After several years of providing only inspection services, John decided to expand to property preservation.

As a homeowner with additional property in New York, John is very familiar with and skilled at providing his own handyman services. He knew that he would be able to handle the property preservation -- if he only knew how to gain access and winterize the properties as well. Meeting his mentor via the internet, John spent three solid days of hands on preservation training, concentrating on gaining access and proper winterization procedures. He then spent two additional years with completing an on-line training program, and preparing his equipment, vehicles, office and agents for the expansion.

Today, John offers excellent property preservation services as well as continuing with his inspection service. Technoserv agents have learned from John and refer to the SIRs Field Manual to guide them through their tasks as well.

John is the Government Liaison to Society of Independent Representatives, a national association for field service companies who pledge to uphold a strong business ethic and provide quality services at or above local, state and federal guidelines. As the Government Liaison, John keeps abreast of all regulations applicable to his business and ensures property preservation services provided do meet or exceed these guidelines while complying with client requests.
